Welcome to Medinh Fogón, an editorial journal of Andalusian home cooking published at medinh.com. Reading this site means you accept the terms below. They are short, and they exist mainly so that both sides know where they stand.

What this site is

Medinh Fogón publishes recipes, kitchen notes and food writing. It is a publication, not a shop: nothing is sold here, no accounts are created, and no payments are taken. The site is offered free of charge for personal reading and home cooking.

Cooking from our recipes

You are welcome, and warmly encouraged, to cook every dish on this site in your own kitchen, to adapt quantities to your taste, and to share the results at your table. The recipes are for personal, non commercial use. If you write about one of our dishes elsewhere, a link back to the original page is the honest way to do it.

What belongs to the journal

The texts, recipe write ups, headnotes, layout and visual identity of Medinh Fogón are protected by copyright and belong to the publisher or are used under license. Facts and traditional techniques belong to everyone; our particular wording and presentation do not. Republishing whole recipes or substantial portions of the site without written permission is not allowed.

What we ask of readers

• Do not scrape, mirror or mass download the site's content.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the site's operation or probe it for vulnerabilities.
• Do not present our content as your own or use the Medinh Fogón name to imply endorsement.
• Use the recipes with common sense and normal kitchen caution.

Honesty about accuracy

We test our recipes with care, but kitchens differ: ovens run hot, tomatoes vary in sweetness, flours absorb water differently. The content is provided as is, and while we work to keep everything correct and current, we cannot promise that every page is free of error at every moment. Your own judgment in the kitchen remains the final authority.

Limits of responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this site or its recipes. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Practical translation: if a dish does not come out as hoped, we are sorry, and we would genuinely like to hear what happened, but the risk of cooking lies with the cook.

Links that leave the site

Some pages link to outside websites, for example Google's policy pages. Those sites have their own terms and their own owners; a link from us is a convenience, not an endorsement, and we answer for none of their content.

Advertising

The site may carry advertising served by third party networks such as Google AdSense. Advertisers are responsible for their own claims and offers. Any dealings between you and an advertiser are strictly between the two of you.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page tells you when the current version took effect, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new text.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and any dispute arising from them will be resolved in the competent courts of the publisher's registered seat.
